Water Fun, Games Highlights of Spaulding Academy Field Day

Spaulding Academy & Family Services recently held Spaulding Academy’s annual Field Day. It brought residential and day students together with staff to enjoy an outdoor event filled with opportunities to play and cool off.
The event featured traditional Field Day games like tug-of-war and a water balloon toss, along with a new water slide and an oversized inflatable that provided climbing and sliding fun. A dunk tank also gave students the chance to dunk their favorite teachers and staff members.

Spaulding Academy & Family Services Expands Leadership Team

Spaulding Academy & Family Services has named Meaghan Emmons, MBA, its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Emmons, of Goffstown, joins the organization after 19 years with Granite Group Benefits and Alera Group. Her most recent role was Senior Vice President of Finance.

Spaulding Academy & Family Services Names Lavallee Principal and Director of Special Education

Spaulding Academy & Family Services has promoted Garrett Lavallee, MEd, of Meredith to Principal and Director of Special Education. Lavallee began his career at Spaulding Academy & Family Services in 1999 as a member of the Residential team while an undergraduate student at Colby-Sawyer College. He then held various positions within Spaulding Academy including Paraeducator, Special Education teacher, and Special Education Coordinator. He most recently served as Assistant Director of Special Education.

Students Exhibit Creativity, Excitement for Learning at 2022 Spaulding Academy Science Fair

Northfield, NH – Spaulding Academy & Family Services recently held the 2022 Spaulding Academy Science Fair, which brought families, friends, and community partners to campus to experience student science projects. Serving as guest judges were New Hampshire Department of Education Commissioner Frank Edelblut; Ron Magoon, President and CEO of Franklin Savings Bank; Dan Kaplan, Director of Information Technology, Associated Grocers of New England; and Tilton-Northfield Fire Department Firefighters Timothy Ames, Tyler Bannister, Travis Gosine, and Theodore Partingt.

Spaulding Academy & Family Services Announces Three Spirit Award Winners

Spaulding Academy & Family Services is pleased to announce the winners of its monthly Spaulding Spirit awards for the fourth quarter of 2021: Donnelle Combs – October, Kristin Cain – November, and Nichole Brizer – December. Nominated by their fellow employees, these staff members are recognized for modeling the spirit of the organization and inspiring their peers with their energy and dedication.
