Here at Spaulding Academy & Family Services, we are proud to share student success stories, milestones reached and childhood memories created. When you hear from us, it is often through pride-filled messages detailing the accomplishments of the children in our care. Today’s message is a little different — it’s all about appreciating the phenomenal group of people behind those success stories, who work tirelessly to ensure that anything is possible for those in our care.
At Spaulding, we have more than 300 individuals who work passionately every day to help us fulfill our mission of supporting exceptional children and families toward a successful future. Last week, we came together as one to celebrate the people who make it all possible during our annual Staff Appreciation Day.
Our employees enjoyed a few hours of fun and relaxation as lunch was catered by Rico’s Burritos and dessert from Marah’s Baking Co LLC. Every team member received a Spaulding raincoat, which we are sure will come in handy as they embark on their never-ending outdoor adventures with our students.
A few lucky winners took home prizes from our Staff Raffle, filled with giveaways donated by local businesses. Thank you to Hermit Woods Winery, T-BONES/Cactus Jacks, Annie’s Café, Penumbra and Wayfarer Coffee Roasters for their generous donations.
While we look forward to this special day of appreciation every year, we are deeply grateful for each and every one of our team members’ dedication and commitment every day of the year. Thank you to them.
