As the snow melts on our campus and winter makes way to spring, our students enjoyed one last eagerly anticipated wintery activity: Spaulding’s beloved Winter Carnival! Each year, our children spend weeks carefully planning and constructing their very own sleds to take to the hills and test their speed in the student-favorite Winter Carnival Sled Race.
This year, our students used their creativity to craft survival-themed sleds, fighting for a shot at victory in one of six award categories. Between snowboarding, sledding and hours of laughs and smiles — though the weather was cold — everyone in attendance walked away with warmed hearts. We are already looking forward to next year!
